Dazzle Company Of Digital Video Recorder

It is necessary to note about two new decisions of Pinnacle Company, focused on house users - Studio MovieBox DV and Studio MovieBox USB. These are external Boxes of rather original design, which are developed to be connect to the computer on DV and USB 2.0 interface and are delivered with the popular program Pinnacle Studio 8. MovieBox DV represents with usual DV converter and allows entering or deducing and editing digital, and analogue video in the standard native DV.

The second MovieBox USB product is intended for editing of only analogue video in standards of MPEG-1 or MPEG-2. After processing, the ready film can be kept in the DVD form or can be written down back on a tape through an analogue output. However, for the sake of justice it is necessary to note, that similar decisions are well known and have been presented in the market. So, for example, MovieBox USB is analogue of Dazzle DVC 150, and MovieBox DV is an analogue of Dazzle Hollywood DV-Bridge, and products of Dazzle already for a long time are not novelties.

On CeBIT 2003 company Dazzle has shown the new achievements in this direction. Among them Hollywood USB 2.0, which as well as DVC 150, is based on hardware compression MPEG-2 and allows to enter or to deduce digitised video on USB 2.0 interface, but unlike the predecessor, can record video not only from analogue, but also from a digital output of the camera. However, conceptually the most interesting product of Dazzle is a Real-Time Video Producer (RTVP).

Its primary goal is to give to the numerous users and supporters of Adobe Premiere 6.5 expanded opportunities of real time editing simultaneously of several streams of DV-video due to the intellectual software (plug-in). This was quite possible for Dazzle!

On 2.4 GHz Pentium 4 RTVP it is an opportunity of simultaneous playing in real time of three video streams with three filters of colour correction, transitions, effect PiP with movement and imposing of several layers of titling!

As a result of association of Fast Personal Video with American company Dazzle Multimedia Inc. new firm Dazzle Europe GmbH has been created. In December 2000 international company SCM Microsystems got Dazzle, which headquarters is in Germany. Its most popular modern products are DVD.master, DV.now, DV.now AV, as well as Hollywood DV-Bridge.
